| This course has been specifically developed to introduce you to the world of cake decorating. Delivered at a very basic level it will enable the beginner to try their hand for the first time with icing bags, piping work and rolling.
As well as showing the basic skills for decorating the cake and covering a cake in sugar paste you will learn how to make the all important butter cream for a sponge. Also covered is making novelty figures, filler flowers and roses and how to pipe a message on to the cake.
As confidence grows students will be shown how to dust flowers and wire the flowers into a spray. Also they will be shown how to use ribbon with different techniques that can be used in the spray.
