The book has a brilliant section on tools, equipment, tips and techniques before moving on to the basics of sugar craft such as the different type of arrangements and how to wire them and the different type of leaves and how to make them. The book then moves on to the more complex flower arrangements, but which are very clearly explained by Paddi with some detailed photo’s and images. The book on face value does look to be aimed at the experienced sugar craft artist or cake decorator though with some time and patience anyone can master the beautiful arrangements. The book features a variety of style of flower arrangements such as the simple but modern magnolia to the more classic sweet pea arrangement. A highly recommended book for anyone interested in sugar flowers. |
