Invaluable for anyone who wants to have a go at making easy party cakes for children. The book has a wide variety of cakes to suit all ages and birthday requirements for children, but probably not suitable for teenagers. There is small section at the start on basic cake covering techniques and recipes, but it is assumed you are familiar with cake decorating. Although its called ‘easy cakes’ I would suggest if this is your first cake you are decorating then they would require some time and patience, but definatley do-able. All the cakes are simple yet effective and this is a lovely book to have in your bookcase. |
